The VS1500 has been selected by BAE Systems as the video recording system & data entry system for the RAF Harrier GR9/T12 fleet, as part of the 'Capability E' upgrade program.

The VS1500 series recorders offer the best in technology, in innovation and in reliability, and meet the comprehensive needs of Forces for day-to-day operation on board aircraft, helicopters and UAVs. The VS1500 supports the Network-Centric Operation and Data Transfer System functionalities, for integrated mission preparation to mission debriefing. The VS1500 is available in the IRIG 106 chapter 10 configuration.
VS1500 recorders were selected for:
the whole US Air Force A-10 fleet,
the UK RAF Hawk Mk 128 trainer fleet,
the Finnish Air Force (FiAF) Hawk Mk51/51A fleet,
the Belgian Air Force AlphaJet trainer fleet,
the French Navy Panther helicopter fleet, etc.
